While at Target, I was asked to manage the writing team for Target.com, one of the top retail sites in the world. When I arrived, the team consisted of full-time staff writers and four part-time freelance writers, everyone cranking out daily updates as fast as they could on their own. I restructured it to run more like weekly college newspaper. It made the writing more cohesive and the whole project a lot more fun. It was also more efficient, eventually eliminating the need for freelance help.
