Yahoo! Mail Relaunch

When Yahoo! Mail upgraded to a new platform, my team created a campaign that encouraged users to migrate before they were forced to move. Over a six-month period, we had the highest Yahoo! campaign response rate (across all Yahoo! properties) and doubled our migration goals.

The homepage takeover below used new technology that allowed us to snap a shot of the page the instant before animation started, so it was the viewer's own personalized Yahoo! homepage featured in the animation. (Most takeovers use a fake page.) When the takeover ended, one of our videos would play.
